For me the most expressive and meaningful "visual object" that can tell a story is FACE.
At the very least, some aspect of our shared human nature.
I can't see your face right now, but I'd like to invite you to my brief visual journey through faces...
Let's begin with a line....
1. S L E E P   L I N E.
This elusive moment between waking and sleeping is familiar to all of us. None of us can recall the exact moment we fell asleep.... I wanted to draw this line...
But what if you wake up and don't have the energy to get out of bed? :(
2. DEPRESSION

How should this dramatic psychological disorder be depicted?
It's not exactly sadness...
Even the most profound. How to live with this tragic disability....
After all, you were fortunate to have survived. You live by breathing, scrolling, creating, wanting more...
3. TREE OF LIFE

The Tree of Life exists in the shadow of the well-known Tree of Knowledge, but....
This tree is far more important than any knowledge...
The first is life. Then there is the possibility of knowledge....

So....take a look at this Lady Life....
Most of us will know what it's like to be in the autumn of our lives...

             4. Queen of Autumn

This piece was chosen as the cover for Strange City Digest's Fall 2020 issue.
You can find out more about it here:

The next face down is my interpretation of GUARD ANGEL. My personal favorite....
